Mike's MGs

Mike has owned this MGC since 1984!


Mike was also compelled (coerced, badgered, forced) to trade his Rover 55 MSport (aka BMW 1 Series) in on an MG6 GT TSE in April 2014.

Mike's and Angie's previously owned MGs include various MG B’s, a Midget, Maestro and Montego, and a 1300.

The MGC has had various updates and mods – the most significant being:

  • Full poly-bush front suspension joints + rear Spax dampers
  • Quick steering rack and uprated torsion bars
  • Stage 2 spec engine
  • Fully lightened and balanced
  • Gas flowed unleaded head
  • Tubular exhaust manifold
  • K&N air filters
  • Modified distributor
  • Large capacity radiator
  • Electric fans

The engine is now making approximately 200 bhp (original would have been 146 bhp).
